My Story

Born and raised in Austin, I fell in love with the city’s ambitious, creative, and yes, weird, community! I know what it’s like to live in a place that pushes you to do more, achieve more, and keep moving. That drive can be exciting, but without balance, it can also lead to exhaustion. That’s where my work comes in.

My Path to Therapy

Following in the footsteps of my two older sisters, I became a Longhorn and earned my B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences at UT Austin. During that time, I volunteered at the Crisis Text Line, where I helped people in crisis de-escalate, develop coping strategies, and connect with resources. I also worked at the UT Lab School, teaching kindergarteners emotional regulation and interpersonal skills.

Later, I headed off to Lubbock and earned my M.S. in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University. At the Texas Tech Family Therapy Clinic, I provided online and in-person therapy for individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, relationship conflict, work-life balance, loneliness, and anxiety. Additionally, I provided group, individual, and family therapy at the Lubbock Juvenile Justice Center, where I helped adolescents set goals, identify obstacles, and create action plans for success.

Now back in Austin, I’m focused on helping students, emerging adults, and professionals build lives that feel both meaningful and sustainable.

My Approach

My style has been described by supervisors as active, engaged, and collaborative. I believe insight only matters if it leads to action, so I combine reflection with practical steps that move you forward.

I use an integrative approach that blends:

  • Performance Psychology: focus, motivation, and recovery science for sustainable performance

  • Systemic Therapy: understanding how relationships and environments impact wellbeing

  • ACT, DBT, and CBT: evidence-based tools for emotional flexibility, boundaries, and balance

When I’m Not in Session

Outside of therapy, you can usually find me jogging around Lady Bird Lake, buying dark chocolate peanut butter cups at Trader Joe’s, trying a new local coffee shop, or lifting.

Let’s work together.

If you’re ready to start feeling grounded, focused, and balanced again, I’d be honored to help.
