Born and raised in Austin, I fell in love with the city’s driven, creative, and yes, weird, community!

Following in the footsteps of my two older sisters, I became a Longhorn and earned my B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences at UT Austin. During that time, I volunteered at the Crisis Text Line, where I helped people in crisis de-escalate, develop coping strategies, and connect with resources. I also worked at the UT Lab School, teaching kindergarteners emotional regulation and interpersonal skills.

Later, I headed off to Lubbock and earned my M.S. in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University. At the Texas Tech Family Therapy Clinic, I provided online and in-person therapy for individuals, couples, and families navigating life transitions, relationship conflict, work-life balance, loneliness, and anxiety. Additionally, I provided group, individual, and family therapy at the Lubbock Juvenile Justice Center, where I helped adolescents set goals, identify obstacles, and create action plans for success.

Now back in Austin, my mission is to provide effective mental health counseling and online therapy to meet the needs of the community I grew up in. I am committed to helping individuals, couples, and families spark meaningful change and achieve fulfilling lives and relationships.

My style of therapy has been described by supervisors as active and engaged. I balance high expectations and accountability with support and warmth, tailoring my approach to meet the needs of each unique client. While I draw from many therapeutic modalities, I emphasize an action-oriented approach with practical steps toward lasting change.

When I’m not providing therapy, you can find me jogging around Lady Bird Lake, buying dark chocolate peanut butter cups at Trader Joe’s, trying a new local coffee shop, or getting lost in the Greenbelt.
