Therapy That Leads to Change
I work with couples and individuals who are ready to approach their lives and relationships differently.
My style is structured, collaborative, and direct. Clients often describe my work as grounded and action-oriented. Insight matters, but only if it translates into meaningful change outside of the therapy room.
Whether you’re working on relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, the focus is the same: Identify the pattern, interrupt it, and do something different that aligns with your values and goals.
My Approach
Therapy with me is active.
We don’t stay on the surface of problems. We look at what drives them, including the habits of thought, emotional responses, and relational patterns that repeat over time.
I integrate evidence-based approaches such including:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Gottman Method Couples Therapy
Systemic Therapies (including Strategic, Structural, Narrative, and Solution-Focused)
The goal isn’t to eliminate difficult thoughts, emotions, or conflict. It’s to develop the awareness and skills to respond differently when it matters most.
Background and Training
I earned my B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and my M.S. in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy from Texas Tech University.
My clinical experience includes work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship conflict, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I’ve provided therapy in university clinics, community settings, and juvenile justice environments, supporting clients in building structure, accountability, and sustainable change.
I currently serve as a Clinical Affiliate with The Center for Relationships in Austin, where I receive ongoing consultation and advanced training in evidence-based couples therapy.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of session, you’ll likely find me jogging around Lady Bird Lake, lifting, exploring new coffee shops, or spending time with friends and family.
I believe the same things I encourage in therapy apply to life: Clarifying what matters, making space for discomfort, and taking committed action.
Ready to begin?
If you’re ready to do something different, I’d be glad to talk.
