Do you accept insurance?
While Ignite Therapy of Austin does not accept insurance, a reduced rate is offered for full-time undergraduate, graduate, or professional students.
If cost is a concern, please mention it during your consultation. We’ll explore options that make care accessible.
How often will therapy occur?
For most clients, therapy will take place once per week to ensure that we are making consistent progress toward your goals. However, depending on life circumstances, the presenting problem, or the phase of treatment, frequency of therapy may vary.
If you’d prefer to meet more or less often, just let me know. We can adjust your schedule together.
How do I get the reduced student rate?
On the intake form, a question will ask if you are currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate, graduate, or professional student. If you are, click “Yes” and describe your school, the degree you are pursuing, and your expected graduation date. I will apply the student rate to your sessions, and this reduced rate remains available for as long as you maintain enrollment.
For couples and family therapy, only one member needs to be a currently enrolled, full-time student.
I trust clients to accurately represent their student status. Proof of enrollment may be requested periodically (for example, once per academic year) to confirm continuing eligibility.
